Emergency & Urgent Care

Find treatment fast.

West Lake Animal Hospital provides referrals for pet emergency and urgent care situations in Taylorsville, Kearns, West Jordan, West Valley City, and the surrounding areas.

As a loving and responsible pet parent, you do everything you can to protect your companion and ensure their health and well-being. Despite your best efforts, though, serious problems can strike at any time. Like humans, pets can develop unexplained symptoms, get hurt, or ingest things that make them sick. When that happens, knowing where to turn is vital.

At West Lake Animal Hospital, we are not equipped to handle life-threatening emergencies. We do, however, provide emergency and urgent care referrals and encourage you to contact the emergency center listed below.

If your pet is facing a life-threatening situation, please reach out to this facility immediately:

MedVet Salt Lake City
331 W Bearcat Dr, Salt Lake City, UT 84115
P: (385) 341-4444

If you have questions regarding poisoning, we advise you to contact the Pet Poison Hotline at (800) 213-6680. You can also reach out to ASPCA Poison Control at (888) 426-4435.
